Day 9 of Korean and I'm already scared I'll quit. Talk me down?

I've started Korean like four times. Always quit around week two. This time I'm trying the input-first thing — Comprehensible Korean on YouTube, dual subs, no grammar drilling. But the old voice is back: 'you're not a language person.' How do you all get past the part where it feels pointless because you understand basically nothing?

190 hours in here. Day 9 is the worst day — you're past the novelty, nowhere near the payoff, and the old 'not a language person' voice is loud. It's lying. You already pulled one whole language out of thin air as a kid. The machine still works. Just keep the input going and let week two be boring instead of a quitting point.

Okay this actually helped. Going to make week two as unremarkable as possible and just keep pressing play. Thank you both.

The trick that saved me: stop measuring whether it's 'working' day to day. You can't feel 9 hours. You'll feel 50. Just show up to the next video and let the hours stack quietly.
